Surveying EN


The application will help you in stakeout points or surveying, in the field.

1. Select fieldwork: ''StakeOut'' or "Survey".
2. Instrument orientation: ''Αlready oriented'' or ''Back Sight'' or ''Resection''.
3. Instrument configuration: must input instrument height, target height and angular units.
4.1 Station coordinates: enter the coordinates of the station, under the choise of ''Already oriented''.
4.2 Back Sight: enter the coordinates of station and target.
4.3 Resection: enter the coordinates of two known points and the measurements for the calculation of the resection (free station).
5.1 Stakeout: enter the coordinates of the points from the keyboard or from a file.
5.2 Survey: enter the azimuth, distance, height difference and the target height. By default is writing to a file (can be disabled).

The coordinates of stations and stakeout points can be imported from a single .txt file, whose format is Name,X,Y,Z and located at: 
 
 Device\Internal Storage\Android\data\com.Surveying.IntheField\files\StakeOut.txt
 
This can be easily created on the computer and transferred to the phone.

The coordinates and the measurements of the surveying points are stored in a .txt file whose format is Name,X,Y,Z,G(grad),S,DH,TargetHeight or Name,X,Y,Z,G(deg-min-sec),S,DH,TargetHeight located at:
 
 Device\Internal Storage\Android\data\com.Surveying.IntheField\files\Survey.txt
 
Each measurement is added to this file.
In the header is recorded the Date/Time/Xstation/Ystation/Instrument height.
